The correct socket is usually marked \u201cInternet\u201d or \u201cLAN1\u201d, so make sure you use the right port before continuing.<\/p><\/section><section><h3>Switch on the router<\/h3><p>Connect the power cable and press the power button, located next to the power socket on the back of the router.<\/p>\n<p>Then wait about 15 minutes while the router starts up and downloads any necessary settings.
