Check that your package contains the following

• 1x Zyxel EE3100 device.
• 1x power adapter.
• 1x network cable.

Connect the router

Connect the supplied network cable between the router’s 2.5G WAN port (LAN 4) on the back of the device and the broadband socket in your home.

If you have a fibre box instead of a traditional broadband socket, connect the cable to that. The correct socket is usually marked “Internet” or “LAN1”, so make sure you use the right port before continuing.

Switch on the router

Connect the power cable and press the power button, located next to the power socket on the back of the router.

Then wait about 15 minutes while the router starts up and downloads any necessary settings. It may start up sooner, but if nothing happens, try restarting the device.

Connect your device

Connect your mobile device by scanning the QR code on the underside of the router, or enter the Wi-Fi password (SSID) manually.

You can also connect a computer or games console to one of the LAN ports on the back of the router using a network cable.
