1. Open the installation email from F-Secure
When you purchase Bahnhof Safe, you will receive an email with installation details. If you cannot find the email, search for F-Secure or safeavenue@f-secure.com in your inbox. Then click on Install Bahnhof Safe.
If you still cannot find the email, you can install the software here and reset your password.
Log in with the email address you use with Bahnhof and your new password.
2. Download the installation file
Click on Download for Windows PC. Once the download is complete, start the installation by clicking on the file at the bottom of your browser window.
If you are unsure where the file was saved, you can access your downloaded files by pressing Ctrl+J in most browsers.
3. If you are asked to restart your computer
You may be asked to restart your computer to continue the installation. In that case, save all ongoing work and restart.
Note: If you already have a security programme installed on your computer, Bahnhof Safe will detect it and notify you. You will need to uninstall the existing programme before you can continue installing Bahnhof Safe.
4. Accept the licence terms
Click on Accept and continue.
5. Welcome to Bahnhof Safe
Click on Continue.
6. Done – your basic protection is now up and running!
To be fully protected, make sure you also:

- Activate Browsing Protection.
- Set up the Password Vault.
- Enable ID Monitoring.
And don’t forget to install Bahnhof Safe on all your other devices to keep them secure.

Click on Download for Mac, then open the downloaded file to start the installation.

1. Open the installation email from F-Secure
When you purchase Bahnhof Safe, you will receive an email with installation details. If you cannot find the email, search for F-Secure or safeavenue@f-secure.com
in your inbox.
Click on Install Bahnhof Safe to go to the App Store/Google Play.
2. Install the app
Tap Get/Install to begin the installation, then open the app once the installation is complete.
3. Accept the terms
You will now need to accept the licence terms. You can also choose to share non-personalised data if you wish to help us continue improving the application. Tap Accept and continue.
4. Log in/Change password
The app will request your login details, which you can find in the installation email.

- On Android, the login is automatic.
- On iOS/iPhone, the app will ask for your login details (from the installation email) and will also require you to change your password.
5. Almost done
Tap Continue.
6. Permissions required
We recommend allowing notifications, as these may include important updates and/or changes to your security settings. If you choose to skip this, you may miss out on that information.
6. Done – your basic protection is now up and running!
To be fully protected, make sure you also:
